The film is about half-documentary, half-comedy about a kid who is thought to be the top snowboarder in the world until the day he gets put in jail. When released, he's picked up by all the other top snowboarders in the world in a party van, and to celebrate, they all go up the mountain the van for a snowboard party. All of the snowboarders in the film are real people and the story is semi-true.

Yet even he could scarcely have imagined they would one day apply to the Southeastern United States, a region better known for plentiful rainfall and abundantly flowing rivers. But for almost twenty years three states – Georgia, Florida and Alabama – have been locked in a fierce struggle over water. This longstanding conflict, recently ratcheted up to new level of intensity by a severe drought and a judge’s dramatic ruling, is the subject of a new documentary, Chattahoochee: From Water War to Water Vision. By interweaving individual stories, Chattahoochee: From Water War to Water Vision, will educate viewers on the complex issues and choices that increasingly face all of us when it comes to one of our most precious natural resources, water.

While borders between filmmaker and actress become blurry, languages and layers of the past intertwine. „I don’t know my name. I don’t know my origins. I only have memories of a place. But I don’t know if I ever was there.” Where? Along the course of the Danube in Strauss the Younger’s famous waltz. From Germany, where the actress’ great-grandfather survived the Second World War only to later live in Eastern Berlin, to Romania, to the Danube-Black Sea Canal, where the filmmaker’s great-grandfather was part of the political prisoners subjected to hard labor by the communist regime. Starting from a beloved cliché, “The Blue Danube”, Teona Galgoțiu’s film proposes an anguishing but beautiful exercise of alienation against the great imagined common histories – including cinematic ones – championing, instead, everything that is most immediate in a human connection: touch, play, confession. In the comedy-oriented story, the computer is an important actor, around which all the events actually revolve. It is reliable, powerful, but unused. Its future lies in the hands of those who do not yet know how to use it.

A loose sequel to the 1976 comedy Stormy Wine. The screenwriters and the director recreate on screen a number of characters from the South Moravian town of Pálavice, characterised by their different attitudes and approaches to work and private life. A number of serious issues touching on the times emerge around the story of the con man. The fundamental dispute between the vice-chairman Janák and the chairman of the merged cooperatives ing. Urban, as well as the satirical theme of illegal machinations and bribes, are undoubtedly of general validity.
